Chester Zoo is the UK’s number one zoo, with over 7000 animals and 400 different species, including some of the most endangered species on the planet.
The zoo is renowned for its spacious animal enclosures and is one of the world’s foremost centres for breeding endangered animals. It has a marvellous collection of mammals, reptiles, birds and fish from all over the world and was one of the first zoos to get rid of the bars of cages. There are delightful gardens and other attractions include the aquarium, the tropical house, waterbus rips and the monorail.
You may purchase a special combined Zoo/Bus/Train tickets sold from all manned Merseyrail Stations.
