Earlestown

Earlestown station has 5 platforms and on platform 2 is the old waiting room, regarded as one of the oldest remaining railway buildings in the world.

Earlestown Market is over 700 years old and the market square is the town's centre-piece.  The market is open every Monday and Friday and is one of the largest in the North West.  Adjacent to the market is the pedestrianised main street with a selection of multiple and local retailers.

Sankey Valley Park is an 8 mile long linear park following the route of the Sankey Canal from St Helens to Warrington.  At Earlestown is the historic Sankey Viaduct which carries Britains first passenger railway over Britains first canal.  There are pathways from the Sankey Valley Park linking Earlestown with Collins Green, Burtonwood, Winwick, St Helens and Warrington.
