A Perfect Place to Visit

Hazel Grove is well known for its local nightlife and "The Magic Mile".  On a 1 mile stretch of the A6 road there are 11 pubs and 4 bars.  Famed for its famous 'Pub Crawl', revelers attempt to complete a long evening that involves a visit to all 15 pub/bar establishments.  The Bamboo Club opened in 1961 as a Jazz venue and later on started with groups.  Many top musicians have appeared over the years.

Hazel Grove Bowling and Tennis Club provides floodlit facilities for all year round play.  The tennis club has a thriving junior section and coaching facilities.  The club house has a lounge, snooker and function rooms.

Torkington Park is the main park in the Hazel Grove area and the home of the Secret Garden. The formal flower garden is a great place to walk round or just sit down and enjoy the wildlife.
